Poet Smock in Mid Weight Forest Green Linen with Hand Stitched Detail
Poet Smock – Effortless Elegance Meets Everyday Versatility
Our Poet Smock is a unique blend of a Japanese work shirt and a classic smock — an elegant, button-through style that can be worn as a shirt or layered open as a jacket.
Crafted from premium Japanese mid-weight linen, it offers a relaxed fit for a comfortable and flattering silhouette. Thoughtfully designed for year-round wear, it's perfect layered over a long sleeve in winter or worn under a vest or jacket. The length works beautifully with all our pants.
A pleated, asymmetric side panel adds subtle shape and movement, creating ease without bulk — making it an ideal choice for all body types. And yes — it has pockets. The Poet Smock is a standout piece, a simple, timeless style that fits effortlessly into any capsule wardrobe.

Most of our fabrics can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle- we know you have better things to do with your time.
That said....with the introduction of our beautiful linens, we recommend cool gentle handwash to care for and extend the life of your garment.
However, our winter wools must be dry cleaned, but only once a season.
Please always check you care label for specific instructions for each of you Two Threads garments
Every now and then, we may use a crepe or silk as a trim, that may look better with a cool iron, but don't get too carried away with that.
We combine the fabrics based on the Two Threads notion, if we both love it ...
